This was one of our training backpackers for Philmont. The trail was terrible, either under running water or buried under snow in many places. Ken Mills, Andrew Detwiler, and Greg George were there with me.
We think this lake is actually a parking lot. It had been a wet spring.We all had wet feet after hiking through this snow. At least the sun was shining.This is where we ate lunch. That creek you see is actually the trail.Frisbee.
